La Drutière Farmhouse & Gables Details

La Drutière Farmhouse & Gables is a beautiful rural gem, providing cheerful, comfortable accommodation for up to 13 guests.  Affording six double bedrooms, two kitchens, three bathrooms and a separate downstairs cloakroom.

Farmhouse 

The Farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped, including bottled gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, toaster and filter coffee-machine.  There is a large dining table seating up to twelve people and high chairs available for babies.  French doors lead directly out onto the garden.

The large living room has three sofas and a traditional stone fireplace with log burner.  There is a Smart TV, DVD player and Freeview receiver, receiving English & French TV through the aerial.  

In the Farmhouse there are two double rooms and one twin room on the first floor and two further double rooms on the second floor (one with en suite shower room). 

There are two bathrooms, the family bathroom is situated on the first floor of the Farmhouse and an En-suite shower room situated on the 2nd floor of the Farmhouse is in one of the double bedrooms. There is also a cloakroom on the ground floor of the main Farmhouse.

Gables

The Gables is a one bedroomed house consisting of kitchenette/dining area to the ground floor. A wooden staircase leads to the open plan living room/bedroom with double-glazed A frame picture window, affording stunning westerly views over the Normandie-Maine Natural Park. There is a large modern shower room and dressing area, with a single bed, a Queen size bed and also a sofa bed, allowing the Gables to sleep up to four people, if the sofa bed is used.

Entertainment

There is a bar football combination table, (combined with table hockey and small pool table) in the downstairs area of the Gables.

A big selection of family games and books are available in the Farmhouse living room.

Garden and outside

Guests have exclusive usage of the large, secure garden, ideal for families.  The heated swimming pool is fitted with an alarm which meets current French regulations and the pool is monitored monthly by DAS for water quality. Children should however, always be strictly supervised around the poolside area. There are two patio areas and garden furniture is provided throughout with a large stone BBQ available for al fresco dining. The garden offers large mature trees for shade, and pretty flowers beds, looking out over the picturesque Normandie-Maine Natural Park. Outstanding views can be observed from the main garden/poolside area where amazing sunsets can be viewed on warm balmy evenings. There is a children's play area which includes a swing/slide combination, outdoor table tennis table with bats and balls, badminton net, swing ball plus many other outdoor games. 

Parking and garages

There is room for parking behind closed gates for 6-7 cars, 4 of which would be undercover.

Information about any additional facilities

The Farmhouse has oil fired central heating, available at no extra cost outside of the Summer Season Oct - May. There is also a woodburner in the Farmhouse living room, with one complimentary bag of eco logs provided (Oct - May) and a charge of 5 or 10 Euros per bag (depending on size) used thereafter. Electricity, gas and water are included in the cost. Two travelcots, one static wooden cot, three highchairs and two stairgates are available on request. Two hairdryers available. Free wi-fi (whilst we ensure every effort to keep you connected there have been times when it has been out of our control). Heated swimming pool (23 - 25 degrees) 10 x 5 x 1.5m, strictly no swimming flippers to be used in the pool, due to the risk of tearing the liner.
